Multiple British Supermoto title winner Christian Iddon will return to the GNS Racing team for the final round of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park.
Christian joined the team for the penultimate meeting of the season, although poor weather at Silverstone forced him to retire from the race when his visor misted up in the wet conditions.
Although there was disappointment at that retirement, Christian will have a second chance to impress for the Honda team after extending his deal into his home event at Oulton Park.
Christian will again partner newly-crowned champion Sam Lowes for the season finale and goes into the weekend looking to end his first year of circuit racing with a points finish.
“It’s my home event and my second outing with the team so I’m really looking forward to it. I hoping it will be dry so I can progress more during the weekend than at Silverstone, where the weather conditions worked against me.
“It’s not just a chance for me to put myself in the shop window and show my potential, but also for me to keep learning my craft. My plan is to attack and I want to finish the season with a good result. It won’t be easy as there is a full grid of riders who want to do exactly the same, but my target is to score points from the weekend.”
