Alan Bott

Alan still loves the buzz of adrenaline, if not by running the garage at an extremely fast, yet top quality pace, then by competing back in Motocross after a 25 year break.

In 2013 , his first year back  in this discipline, on his beloved 1981 MAICO 490, Alan gained 3rd Overall  in the National Twinshock Over 50’s class, was 10th in the World Vets MX at Glen Helen USA  and 3rd in the  Lake Elsinore GP over 50’s class.

He competed in the Harvey Mushman 100 mile race (Steve McQueen endurance race) and finished 14th Overall out of 150 competitors.

2014 resulted in 2nd Overall National Twinshock Over 50’s Class, 1st Lancashire Grand National, 1st Yorkshire Grand National, 2nd King of the Castle, 7th Vets MXDN, 5th Tilly Sur Suelles (French Championship), 3rd Belleme (French Classic GP),  5th glen helen world vets champiokship (usa),1st lake elsinore Grand Prix 50+ expert class (usa).3rd Can Mariano Clasiques at (Sta Coloma De Farners } {Spain)
